Rochelle is a former style editor for the FT’s How to Spend It magazine and Katy is a qualified lawyer, turned legal recruiter both of whom have a passion for creating soulful, layered and inviting interiors.
Their talents complement each other perfectly and the blend of Rochelle’s styling experience, Katy’s professional and pragmatic approach and their joint love of creative sourcing and design, drove them to set up business together in 2017.
What began as a part-time, out of hours hobby is now a fully-fledged business working on both residential and commercial projects across the UK. Their signature style is laid back and homely, comprising an eclectic mix of neutral hues, natural materials, mood lighting, ceramics, interesting decor (which always tell a story), textiles, glass and an appreciation of balance and harmony.
Hettie Jacks is a tribute to Katy’s late grandmother and Rochelle’s late father, and is fitting, given their aptitude for mixing vintage and modern elements in all their works.
"Ultimately, we work to make each space to feel warm, timeless and the right level of cosy."
