Our clients had completed a total house refurb and were keen to add finishing touches and infuse some personality into their space.

First up, we were asked to dress the floating shelves in both the Kitchen and Lounge area and so we got to work sourcing a vibrant mix of decorative objects and accessories which together with the client’s existing collection, injected soul into the space with artful forms, rich textures, colour and thoughtful details. With the kitchen leading straight out onto the garden, we opted for neutral hues, close in colour to nature, incorporating terracotta, golden ochre, burnt rusts and sage green and blended these earthy tones with ceramic, wood and brass elements.

We particularly love the quirky Abigail Ahern playful bookends and the statement table lamp in a warm rich claret which complement the client’s lounge colour scheme perfectly.

In the Playroom we worked to fashion a playful, fun and joy-filled vibe. The New York yellow cab from Maison de Monde has big impact, whilst the Memphis hand casted candlesticks from Cup + Cloth create colour-filled, visual interest.

In the Study we built around the client’s existing piece of art, sourcing a mix of abstract pieces, nostalgic prints and selected quotes, and curated a gallery wall in a mix of tonal frames to create interest, warmth personality and boost creativity.

In the WC, we elevated the ambience by introducing subtle, dark glass and ceramic elements with a hint of foliage to layer up its dark and sultry vibe!

The clients have a keen eye for detail and the lounge featured an array of stunning existing prints and coffee table books, so we worked with those, adding decorative elements including, vases, mirrors, sculptures and candlesticks to further enhance the room’s zen and chill-out appeal. Cherished vintage heirloom family pieces, which the client initially considered as only fit for storage were also reintroduced and put on display for everyone to appreciate.
